Bribane hook ups chat
After spending last night out on the town and having nothing but 20 year olds as company I have realised that there is absolutely no where to go in Brisbane that accommodates my age group. A few friends go to Cloudland (haven't been yet myself, but they enjoy it) and the Press club seems ok.Does anyone have any ideas as to where to go in Brisbane? Beats me but totally agree with what you are saying, where do you go other than pubs and clubs? Not really into the club scene myself, would much rather a game of pool and catch up with friends... I'm not a pub goer and don't want drinking type babble to spoil what I'm sure is a lovely green city .the regatta in toowong is also a nice place for a few!!! You've given us a few places that we would never have thought of, I myself though am so over the club and pub scene!!!! Also they're usually not quite so loud (you can talk) and people are generally very friendly.I wish there was a club for over 30's that played 80's music, now that I would like :)Helen Yes . when visiting my sister in Brisvegas we sometimes go to the Story Bridge Hotel on Sunday afternoon before I catch the plane out. And I guess there's the benefit of having something to do.The final step is to tell a little about yourself and define your ideal partner, and that’s it.At this point, you can either finish filling out the rest of your profile, or you can skip it for now and start browsing through pages of profiles. It's a pretty good Jazz session if you're into that kinda thing. When I was in Brisbane I found Cococabana's on Sunday night was good fun. a sports bar with pool tables and a dance floor the music is great caters for all...Gosh I haven't been to the Story Bridge Hotel for a million yearslast time I went I lost all my money on the****oach races - little buggers! POFers have had a few events there and they were successful they aslo have other things happening there like Jon English and other artists The Wavell has some good entertainment on at their RSL as well or try your local sports clubs as I don't know where ya live makes a bit hard BUT Wynnum Manly sports club have some great things on there and so does the Sunnybank Sports club, many options look in the entainment guide in the Sunday mail, most of these places cater for all age groups.... Definitely not what it used to be and you never get that I'm too over the hill for this feeling.
) but checkout "Blind Dog Donnie" on friday nights after they cover the pool table - he really gets the place rockin... I've never been a fan of the Club/Pub thing I would rather spend time with close friends thenstand up in a crowed venue with drunk idoits actinglike fools , people smoking (not so bad now apprently)I see enough of drunk idiots at work coming into the storeto buy items before they go home to sleep.Plentyoffish dating forums are a place to meet singles and get dating advice or share dating experiences etc. Sorry Paula but I am of no help at all in this thread but I'd love to hear everyone else's thoughts on it!!!!!!Hopefully you will all have fun meeting singles and try out this online dating thing...
